As Roll-A-Cover expands their product lines, a design that had been in the works for years finally came to fruition. This trailer, which is unique in many respects, was designed by Roll-A-Cover to house a charity raffled motorcycle. This enclosure serves many purposes:
A) It allows the viewers to have a full vision of whatever is housed within this enclosure. Whether it is a hot rod car, antique, exotic motorcycles or whatever is valuable to you but also needs to be shown.
B) It has a unique feature which is similar to our pool and sunroom enclosures in that it retracts back half way. So, versus a standard closed-in trailer which has no viewing capabilities when the vehicle is housed within it, Roll-A-Cover does.
C) By rolling back 1/2 way, it offers the car or motorcycle user the ability to gain access into the vehicle in the open air versus restricted within a permanent wall system.

This trailer was designed specifically for a charity raffle of a custom motorcycle. This motorcycle, which was designed by the Tuttle boys at Orange County Chopper, will have the exclusive and unique opportunity of being shown off as it is driving down the street or sitting in an area that normally would prove to be dangerous for this expensive motorcycle. This trailer and the motorcycle will be driven around the baseball field during a pro-game on the 14th of August. The charity is for the Bon Secours Community Hospital. There are several features that allow the Roll-A-Cover enclosure's structural requirements to be met. The enclosure was built and temporary set upon this trailer so that final design details can be addressed.
As you can see, the enclosure, built with 1/4" tempered glass, is rolling forward to the front of the trailer for better viewing access and ease of entry.
The enclosure is fully extended in this picture. We can custom build any size enclosure and trailer for your needs. We installed custom pocket doors so that the rear wall is protected from the elements and a completely enclosed trailer occurs.
The front view shows the 1/4" tempered glass and the industrial size extrusions that under normal enclosure engineering requirements, can withstand up to 150 mph winds.
The system is fully extended and ready for detailing.
We decided to give this enclosure a sporty racing image. After seeing the motorcycle that the OCC boys manufactured, the black and white linoleum squares ended up being the right choice.
Another angle of the trailer with a non-skid surface down the middle.
It's a clean look and now the enclosure is ready for wheel wells and final painting.
As the trailer is set to sail for part two of its design/manufacturing process, the straps are used as a temporary support until the final sill lock-down clamp mechanism is installed.
