For this project, the homeowners chose to have a motorized roof installed with rolling walls that open the pool to the backyard. On beautiful days, the roof and walls open to the outdoors. On cold New Jersey days, the roof and walls close. This also protects the pool from unwanted dirt and debris. The insulated tempered glass walls help retain heat.
The motorized retractable roof and the rolling walls are 3/8″ clear monolithic polycarbonate, which allows you to see directly through. The roof is 56′ long by 30′ wide and the walls are 56′ long by 14′ high.
