Boston, MA – This week, Roll-A-Cover installed a retractable skylight at Publico, a restaurant in Boston. Prior to this installation, the restaurant had an aesthetically unpleasing retractable roof system that had no functionality. Now, its new motorized skylight provides a WOW factor for the restaurant. With just the push of a button, the roof opens and closes. On beautiful Boston days, the roof opens and turns space into and outdoor one. On inclement weather days, the roof closes and diners can still dine on the patio with an outdoor ambiance. Therefore, the restaurant will never lose revenue due to weather. 
This system is a motorized free standing skylight with 3/8″ clear monolithic polycarbonate. It is a 5 bay system with bronze anodized aluminum framework. Additionally, it’s 32′ wide x 35′ long. Check back for more completed pictures coming soon!
