The Roll-A-Cover Retractable Enclosure at Hyatt Place New York City / Times Square

New York, NY – This week, Roll-A-Cover installed a brand new retractable glass enclosure at Hyatt Place New York City/ Times Square. This is the second project Roll-A-Cover has done with Hyatt Place and Magna Hospitality, the other being at Hyatt Place Chelsea. The rooftop retractable roof at the Times Square location is 100′ long with 14 bays. It retracts manually with ease.

When the weather becomes inclement, the glass enclosure closes. Therefore, the hotel can continue to utilize its outdoor patio space for diners and for events. This is a large selling point for guests looking to book a patio space. When the weather permits, the enclosure opens to the outdoors. The retractable enclosure provides an outdoor ambiance regardless of the weather and if its open or closed. Fun fact: this enclosure backs up to the Roll-A-Cover retractable enclosure at Nearly Ninth at Arlo Midtown!
