‘Roll-A-Cover Uncovered’: MRI Walkway

Every Wednesday, ‘Roll-A-Cover Uncovered’ spotlights a favorite Roll-A-Cover project. 

Berlin, MD – This week’s “Roll-A-Cover Uncovered” is this week’s MRI walkway installation in Berlin, MD. The installation occurred at AGH Regional Cancer Care Center. Roll-A-Cover has manufactured a dozen MRI enclosures around the country. MRI enclosures allow ease of access to MRI and other medical machines without concern for the weather when a facility uses an MRI mobile unit. 

Patients in wheelchairs or on rolling beds are protected from the elements. Inclement weather is detrimental when the patient needs to access the MRI mobile unit. It is also
easy access for the MRI truck to pull up since the walkway retracts towards the truck.
